This is a Project Engineer- Metals, MES role, reporting to the Engineering Manager in business area Process Automation located in Bangalore. You will be associated with Process Industries operations/development team within INOPC-PA, that is responsible for executing and delivering end-to-end projects for Metals, Cement, Mining & P&P customers across the globe.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for deliverables pertaining to MES. Carry out independently activities of basic and detailed engineering of MES systems.
• Carry out engineering and commissioning of MOM4Metals systems.
• Ensure the engineering workflow is adhered and project is executed as per the Quality Management System
• Prepare periodic reports (like weekly commissioning report, time sheet, SAT) and update the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure Time Sheets are maintained periodically.
• Ensure customer queries are resolved on time & maintain customer relationship through professional approach.
• Ensures the activities at site are in line with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Provide required inputs for L2/L3 support line for issues raised.

Your background

• B. Tech/ B.E from a reputed University with First Class in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in MES implementation, software programming & independently handling areas of projects end-to-end.
• Extensive hands-on experience in C#, .Net, ASP.NET MVC, .Net Core, Web technologies, MS SQL Server or Oracle.
• Should have strong experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design Methodologies & UML.
• Must be strong in implementing and debugging multi-threaded, multi-process applications.
• Exposure to industrial automation domain, particularly OPC-UA/DA, TCP/IP and Modbus TCP.
• Hands on experience on with several of the following technologies: SSL mutual authentication, OAuth, Designing orchestration solutions for scalable micro services, Message Queue system like RabbitMQ
