Our engines power aircraft in every major sector, including transport, combat, patrol, trainers, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles.
• An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Team Leaders to join the Rolls-Royce Global Business Support (GBS) function. The working Team leader role combines team supervision and working as a senior Buyer. The buying side covers sourcing parts that go into our aerospace engines (Direct Procurement) or buying general goods and services (Indirect Procurement) to support the company.

Key Accountabilities

• Leadership - Responsible for the performance of the assigned team and processes. Drive for delivery excellence and for taking the appropriate actions to resolve issues. Be able to represent to the team to the wider organization and align the team to company values. Act as part of the local leadership team to improve process and increase customer satisfaction.
• Sourcing - Responsible for the raising and progressing of purchase orders across designated commodities / categories. Work collaboratively, as part of a highly efficient service delivery team to ensure that all sourcing meets the needs of current and future. 
• Processes and Procedures - Accountable for compliance to company policies, processes and procedures, ensuring all purchasing records and documentations are correct and maintained in line with regulatory requirements. 
• Customer Service - You will plan activities that are aligned to customer requirements and will provide visibility of progress against plan(s). 
• Supplier Relationships - Where designated, responsible for the effective day to day purchase order processing with partners and suppliers.

Key Skills and Experience

• Purchasing process knowledge, ideally with experience of export requirements. Has a proven track record of delivering results and has experience of working within a service delivery environment.
• Worked as a team leader/manager in an operations business.
• Systems knowledge of SAP/iValua (Direct) or Coupa (Indirect) is an advantage.
• Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working. Strong customer focus.
